Good radio. Durable and well built. Stock antenna is suprisingly good and it works well on all bands I have used it for. For this prize I definitely recommend this radio. Only minus is the lack of banks but it is not a big deal.

This is a very nice radio for the price. It has a very clean output on the 144/440 ham bands, but it is not very good on 220, so I would not use it there.
This radio can be improved by installing the N70CM firmware, available on the Radtel website. This vastly expands the RT-890's capability, including wider frequency coverage and SSB reception. It is pretty deaf outside of the stock VHF/UHF bands, but the SSB feature allows me to pickup RS-44 with just the stock antenna. It also works well with receiving the FM repeater on the ISS.

Great device, I bought it on sale.
Big screen full size keypad tiny design is great,
Put color photo on the Start screen, make firmware update easily from github, same program cable with boafeng and mayk but boafeng e five pulls

Very beautiful radio! Wonderful colorful display, I found the setup menu easier than UV 21 Pro v2
